Draft Notes

The Yale transfer is a big time talent and a very unique player as a 7-footer who loves to operate with the ball in his hands.

Wolf has great size and very surprising quickness and agility for a 7-footer and a really intriguing skill-set. He’s a very creative passer who can operate the pick and roll, make live-dribble passes and operate as the primary creator and play-maker. He is very turnover prone and often tries to do too much but if he can harness those creative energies it could work well at the NBA level.

Has floor spacing ability and a nice looking 3pt shot but will have to get more consistent. His shooting numbers don’t jump out at you but he has reportedly shot the ball exceptionally well during the pre-draft process and is looking like a legit floor-spacing, play-making big.

Wolf is a solid rebounder and a decent defender but doesn’t offer much rim protection. He’s an agile and quick player but doesn’t have great vertical pop. Should be an adequate defender at the NBA level but that’s not going to be his calling card.
