Overview
A fierce competitor and great floor general who can really score the ball and does all of the little things well.

Strengths
Sexton is a quick and wiry athlete who has great speed in the open court and can play above the rim. He is well built for the NBA with decent size for the position, long arms and superb quickness.

Can score from all three levels and his ability to hit the three point shot really opens up the driving lane. He has a quick first step and can really explode to the cup and finish among the trees.

He handles the ball well in traffic and can beat pressure defense with the dribble.

A true point guard, Sexton has great court awareness and does a good job of getting his team into their sets and distributing the ball.

Sexton is a ball-hawk on defense and really shows his competitive spirit by locking down opponents and always playing with hustle and heart.

Weaknesses
Can over-drive the ball and get caught up in the lane. Needs to learn to make the simple pass and keep the ball moving.

Isn’t a knock down shooter from outside. Is streaky and can make the three point shot but needs to get more consistent.

Comparisons
A better version of Patrick Beverley with upside that might be close to Chauncey Billups.
Terry Rozier.
