Chris McCullough NBA Draft Scouting Report

6-10 – Power Forward – Syracuse

A powerful, well built player with a lot of length. Recovering from knee injury and might not be ready for the start of his first NBA season.

Pros
McCullough is a high level athlete who gets off the floor well and plays with a lot of power. Is a great dunker who plays well above the rim and can throw it down on anybody. Well built for the pro game, with great length and fluidity.

Has very compact movements and good burst. Very fluid in transition.

Offensively, he’s beginning to round out his game, with a jumper out to 15 and some face-up ability.

A solid rebounder and interior defender. Very good shot blocker.

Cons
Must continue to improve his ball skills (shooting, ball handling and passing) and get better from the foul line.

Recovering from a right ACL tear and is not likely to have much of an impact during his rookie season.

Projection: mid to late first round pick in the 2015 NBA Draft
