Chase Jeter NBA Draft Scouting Report

6-10 – Power Forward – Duke

A true post player with nice fundamentals and decent skill level.

Pros
He’s very crafty with the ball and has a natural feel for offense. A good 1 one 1 player who can really fill it up from anywhere within 15 feet and has a nice combination of post moves; drop step, spins, hooks etc.

He seems to play one step ahead of the game and plays with great control. Uses ball fakes really well and plays with good understanding of spacing and moving without the ball.

Is a committed on defense and has room to grow into a polished post defender.

Cons
Lacks elite level explosiveness and is not particularly quick in the open court. Doesn’t have great second jump ability.

Is a little undersized for the next level.

Projection: possible second round pick in the 2017 or 2018 NBA Draft
