Draft Notes

Coward is an under the radar talent who has all the tools to be a NBA role player including a NBA level frame and a dangerous 3pt shot. He’s been one of the biggest winners of the pre-draft process and is flying up draft boards.

A former D3 player who had zero offers coming out of high school Coward is one of the most interesting stories of this draft cycle.

At 6-6 with good length he’s got a strong build and all the athletic tools for the league. He’s a good athlete who isn’t an elite above the rim player or open court athlete but has plenty of athletic juice.

Has really developed as a 3pt shooter and has become a really dangerous threat from downtown.

Is a solid defender who guards 2’s and 3’s and some 4’s and is a high level rebounder and a really good shot blocker for a wing.

Is a good connective passer who sees the floor well and thinks the game at a high level. Isn’t a great play-maker in terms of breaking defenders down and finding teammates but makes the right read.

An excellent FT shooter.
