Draft Notes

Carrington is an intriguing point guard prospect who has good height for the position, with a long and wiry 6-5 frame and a nice offensive package.

He’s a skilled shot maker and has the ability to shake loose for his jumpers, despite not having a blazing first step. He’s got good handles and a lot of moves to get defenders off balance. He’s really good in the mid range and shows promise from downtown, although he struggles to finish around the rim.

He’ll have to get a lot stronger if he wants to be a plus defender at the next level.

Carrington is not yet a reliable 3pt shooter (32% as a freshman) and will have to make some big improvements if he wants to develop into a starter level NBA player.
