Carey is the son of Calvin Booth, former NBA player and current NBA executive. He’s built in a similar mold to his old man but with a more advanced game at this stage of his development.

At 6-10 and just over 200lbs Carey is a long and well built PF/C who has put on a lot of good wait since his high school days. He’ll have to add even more strength to hold his own in the NBA but is well on his way.

He’s a good athlete with a lot of coordination for a player his size. He shows a nice face-up game and the ability to beat his man with the dribble and make moves into the lane. His 3pt shooting ability keeps the defense honest and sets up his dribble-drive game.

Carey gets off the ground with ease and can really play above the rim. He’s an instinctual shot-blocker who uses his size, length and leaping ability well.

He’s got a modern game, combining rim protection with 3pt shooting ability and quick decision making.
