Draft Notes

Brandon McCoy is one of the elite recruits in the 2026 recruiting class and a likely mid/late first round pick in the 2027 NBA Draft.

He’s a long, wiry and athletic 6-5 guard with a quick first step and good above the rim ability. I wouldn’t call him an elite athlete but he’s got more than enough speed and bounce for the NBA level.

He’s a talented scorer who can get to the bucket and finish with style. At this point he’s not a polished outside shooter but has shown some improvements since his early HS days and could end up being a solid 3pt threat in time.

He’s got good size for the point guard position and a frame that will put on weight. He uses his size and athleticism to guard all over the court and is one of the standout defenders in his class.
