Draft Notes
Buyuktuncel is a versatile 6-9 lefty forward who impacts both ends of the floor.
He’s a skilled offensive talent with a nose for the basket and does a good job of finding lanes and openings in the defense and getting to the rim. He might not be the most bouncy or twitchy athlete but has good awareness and timing and knows how to cut off ball and get open in the lane.
He shows some promise as an outside shooter but is not yet a real threat from downtown. Uses pump fakes and ball fakes well to get open.
Can guard inside and out and switch from bigs to wings and even defend guards fin a pinch. His high level awareness shows up on the defensive end too, where he reads passing lanes well and is a good off the ball defender.
Plays with a lot of passion and energy.
