Overview
A big, strong and talented center with an advanced offensive game.
Strengths
Koprivica is an overpowering force in the paint, who gets position well and has a really nice skill set for a young big. Has a soft touch around the basket and he does a good job of getting into post position. Can score with either hand and projects as an offensive force, as he continues to develop.
Has a good understanding of the game for a young center. Passes the ball well and has a good feel for the flow of the offense.
Has the size and strength to hold his own at the highest levels of competition. Does a nice job of defending in the paint and using his length (nearly 7-4 wingspan) to alter shots and protect the rim.
Is an excellent rebounder on both ends of the floor. Controls the paint on defense and is becoming a good shot blocker.
Weaknesses
Is not a run-jump athlete and doesn’t have great speed. Needs to get/stay in top shape to reach his potential.
Doesn’t play with enough aggression and tenacity. Needs to develop a mean streak.
Comparisons
He’s like a bigger Enes Kanter or a more advanced Jusuf Nurkic.
Underrated or overrated? Who are your player comparisons for him?
