Draft Notes
Arthur Kaluma is an impressive athlete with a chiseled 6-7 frame, great length and a ton of natural power. He’s got a good physical profile for a NBA combo forward who can play many positions on the court and guard up and down the line up.
I buy his development as a 3pt shooter long term but it’ll take some time. It’s still a weakness for him now and he has a long ways to go to get to a consistent, NBA level but I think he’ll get there. The shooting form is good and he steps into his shot with confidence.
Kaluma is solid on the boards on both ends. He’s able to hold his own against taller players and clean the defensive glass well.
After receiving a lot of draft buzz (including form yours truly) earlier in his career he’s fallen off a bit and no longer projects as a first round pick.
