Andre Roberson NBA Scouting Report

NBA Draft Prospect Andre Roberson

6,7 – Small Forward – Colorado

Pros

Ideal size and athleticism for the NBA small forward position. Roberson is a long and wiry athlete with all the physical tools to develop into an effective NBA wing. Has a nose for the ball and is a great rebounder on both ends of the floor. Controls the glass as well as any small forward prospect out there and can be a difference maker on the floor, even without scoring.

Runs the court very well and should excel in a fast paced offense. Has put in a lot of work on his ball handling and shooting skills and is beginning to expand his game beyond the lane. Very effective around the basket and uses pump fakes well. A high riser who can really throw it down. Good shot blocker and gets a lot of steals – all around good defender.

Cons

Not a consistent shooter and doesn’t shoot free throws well. Is not likely to become a top level three point marksman and does not project as a second or third option on offense – more of a “glue guy” at the next level that does all the little things to help the team win.
