Amida Brimah NBA Draft Scouting Report

7-0 – Center – UConn

Brimah is a menace on the defensive end and has all of the physical tools to make an impact at the next level.

Pros
Has tons of raw ability and is just coming into his own as a basketball player. Has physical tools which can’t be taught, including great height, length and mobility.

Really excels on the defensive end and is becoming a true rim protector. Uses his length well and rarely falls for pump fakes. A quick leaper.

Has a vastly improved offensive game. Doesn’t shoot the ball often but hits a high percentage and chooses his shots wisely.

Cons
Still very raw and unseasoned.

Must add strength to bang at the next level. Appears to be a few years away from fully filling out his frame.

Is not a good free throw shooter (although he has decent form and is likely to improve).

Projection: mid to late first round pick in the 2016 NBA Draft
