Draft Notes

Griffin is a high scoring shooting guard with a quick trigger release and nice one on one ability. He’s not the most efficient scorer but does a good job of pressuring the defense, drawing fouls and he’s lethal from the FT line.

Griffin is an active defender who plays with good fundamentals and buys in on the defensive end. His steals and blocks numbers might be inflated by the Syracuse zone but it’s still impressive to over 1.5 steals and 1.5 blocks from a 6-5 shooting guard.

His stock is on the rise and he’s looking more and more like a second round draft pick.
