2013 NBA Draft Sleepers

We all know the big names but here are a few players who don’t spend a lot of time in the spotlight but could surprise on draft day. It’s not uncommon for players to be better in the pros than they were in college. Call them late bloomers or better suited for the pro game. Here are a few names to watch for.

Laurence Bowers – Forward – Missouri
Not a flashy player but a steady and versatile forward who helps win ball games. Excellent rebounder and defender who could excel as a “glue” type player in the NBA.  Has looked good working his way back from knee injury.
Rodney Williams – Small Forward – Minnesota
Williams is an explosive athlete who will be able to hold his own against NBA level players. Not a great offensive player but knows his limits and does the dirty work well. Should continue to develop and have a nice NBA future.
Reggie Bullock – Shooting Guard – North Carolina
Bullock is having a solid but unspectacular career at UNC but could excel as a spot up shooter in the league. Has great size on the wing and a wet jumper. Not a world class athlete but with his special shooting skills he could be a long time NBA player.
